Subject: Re investigation of fire scene photos
Dear Mr. Basler,
I was wondering if you had an answer to our request for the higher ez images? In addition, we request the address of the “home in the Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego, California” where your photographer took the photographs? Did your photographer obtain permission from the owners to go inside the house?
We are consulting with top people in the fire science field. One professor who requested information about the fire scene photos is from one of the leading departments in the country: Dr. di Marzo* (see below) asked us for information about the material of the door (wood?), the door's finish (paint?) and the view of the door's other side. The home owners will be able to supply this information. We are seeking the homeowner's contact information independently; however, your cooperation and transparency would be greatly appreciated.

Fire Protection Engineering Department
University of Maryland, College Park
Best regards,
Rhonda
